Barry Whistler has owned and operated Barry Whistler Gallery since 1985. He has exhibited and sold Contemporary Art work by Texas and National artists. Works from the gallery are now included in museum collections such as the Dallas Museum of Art, Houston Museum of Fine Art, San Antonio Museum of Fine Art, and many corporate and private collections. Barry is a Dallas native and received an undergraduate degree in Art History from the University of North Texas. Prior to opening the gallery he worked with Delahunty Gallery, Dallas, and Ace Gallery, Los Angeles, as well as the Modern Art Museum of Ft Worth and the Dallas Museum of Art.
